Length: 25 3/4 inches - 95th pecentile
Weight: 17 lbs 1 oz - off the charts (still loves to eat - just like mommy)
Avery is developmentally right on track with everything except rolling over. The doctor scolded us and told us she has to have time on her stomach every day so she will learn to roll over. Can't we just skip crawling and jump to walking? Anyway, we don't do much "tummy time" because she throws a fit every time we try. We think it is because she can't see everything (i.e. the TV) when she is on her belly on the floor, so she hollars. Don't let that cute smile fool you.....she was facing the TV while laying on the couch. :o)
She is definitely starting to give us her opinion.......very loudly in a very high pitch.....I think the dolphins can hear her. :o) Avery has also found the joy of laughing hysterically at Grandpa Bob - she seems to think he is the funniest guy ever. What's up with that????? We act completely ridiculous to get her to laugh and Grandpa just has to walk in the door and the giggles start. Who knew he could be so funny. :o)

Avery is really an amazing baby. She is a joy to be around (most of the time)......some days bed time brings a lot of drama. She tends to fight off sleep until she is completely over tired and the crying starts. Singing typically gets her calmed down and she will fall asleep......even these little hurdles don't tarnish how much we love being her parents. Avery is a miracle and we can barely remember what life was like before her.
