2 Weeks Old Already

Yesterday Avery had her two week check up with our new pediatrician. The doctor said that she is exceptional and thriving (we already knew that!), so they don't need to see her again until she is 8 weeks old for her next set of shots. The pediatrician also said that her cleft lip is one of the smallest he has seen in all his years of practice and he said to stick with the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital to do the surgery......but not before her 8 week shots. Avery will probably have surgery around the 12 week mark.

She's growing like a weed & doing great! She holds her head up quite a bit and rolled from her tummy to her back today twice - I don't think she intended to, but it's still a milestone for the baby book. :o)
