The words below are from Amy and are clearly a testament to what an amazing person she is. I have learned a lot from Amy throughout this entire experience and I'm sure many others have too. I definitely think the world needs more people like Amy......my Hero, my Angel, my God send.....whether she wants to be or not. :o)Now from Amy:
I really appreciate all the comments and prayers. A very special "Thank You" to my mom and dad who have done so much throughout this journey. None of this would have been possible without all of their help and support. It's hard to put everything into words. I don't want anyone to thank me, just thank God. Thank God Avery is here, she is perfect, she is Tom and Shelley's and they are a family now. I could never have made all that happen by myself so I don't deserve the credit. The Glory goes to God. I'm not a sweetie or an angel, I just want to be an example of what can happen if people help others whenever they can. Not just when it is easy, or when there will be an immediate reward. We shouldn't try to judge if someone deserves our help, but whenever there is an opportunity we should try to make a difference in the lives of others. Even if it just means holding a door open for someone.
