Avery is finally here and Shelley and I couldn't be happier. Avery was born at 7:48 am, and weighed 8 lbs, 13.75 oz. She was 21 inches long and had a big round 14inch head covered in brown hair. She is absolutely beautiful. As of this writing she has been a perfect baby, never really crying and only fussing for a few moments until she is fed (I'm hoping this continues....). The cleft in her lip is very small and does not keep her from feeding on a normal bottle.
Amy is also doing great. She has been phenomenal through this whole pregnancy, and continues to amaze. Her family was able to come to the hospital to see Avery, and they were almost as excited as we were. Her kids are great and I hope that Avery turns out as well as they have.
